These some of the colours that have been available in the mongolian lamb sheepskin that I use for making mongolian sheepskin bags, scarves, hats and for trimming the hats and the little sheepskin handbags. I may make one or two sample mongolian sheepskin cushions and I could also make tippets, muffs, jackets and gilets with this most luxurious lambskin. I do find some colours are hard to reproduce correctly on the site and the sheepskin varies in colour from one dye lot to the next so please treat the chart here as a guide. I am usually able to send you cuttings of the mongolian lamb sheepskin that you might be interested in. The length of the wool on the mongolian skins varies as does the degree of curl in the sheepskin and the sheen. Availability is also governed by the type of skin. When the leather of the skin is firmer it is not suitable for scarves or clothing.
